We are making some availability changes to our flytrap inventory this winter due to low stock, seasonal dormancy, and decreased wintertime demand. We will continue to display any items we have in stock, regardless of their availability status, for our customers to browse. We will remove items from visibility that we do not have to make your search easier. If you see any item you are interested in, please inquire about it, as we may be able to accommodate select requests.

Shipping Policy

Ordering:

SeaIslandSnapTraps.com accepts all major credit cards and PayPal for payments. At the present, we can accept orders only from the lower 48 states within the United States. If there are problems with an order, please send email to seaislandsnaptraps@gmail.com.

Packaging:

Your order will be carefully packaged and shipped without soil ("bare-root"). If you require your plant to be shipped with soil ("potted"), please contact us at seaislandsnaptraps@gmail.com before placing your order, so that we can work together to meet your needs. Once the order has been processed, the plants will be packaged as usual. Thank you for your understanding.

Shipping:

We strive to ship orders within three to five business days of receipt only to the lower 48 states within the US. We employ USPS Priority Mail & USPS Priority Mail Express for delivery, which typically requires two to four days. However, the postal service determines the delivery date, and therefore we cannot guarantee it. We ship year-round, and plants are unlikely to be damaged by extreme weather conditions during transit. However, they can be damaged or killed at their destination if left outdoors in extreme temperatures. To prevent this, please ensure that someone is available to bring delivered packages indoors during severe weather. In cases where the recipient is unable to be home or have the packages held, please provide an alternate address where the plants will be cared for upon arrival.

USPS Priority Mail - This option typically offers 1-3 day delivery nationwide. Pricing is based upon weight and distance, & it is usually cheaper than USPS Priority Mail Express but delivery times are not guaranteed.

USPS Priority Mail Express - This option offers guaranteed deliveries in 1-2 service days by 6 PM 365 days per year. Pricing is based upon weight and distance, and it is more expensive than USPS Priority Mail.

Resolving Problems with Orders

If you encounter a problem with your order, we can usually help by canceling the order if it has not yet been processed. If the order has been processed but not shipped, we can refund the purchase price in full. If the plants are damaged during shipment, we will accept them for return, at the customers responsibility, and issue a full refund minus shipping charges. However, we cannot accept returns if the plants are damaged after delivery for reasons explained below.

Resolving Return Issues:

We are confident that our plants will grow well for you if you understand their needs and meet their requirements. Their needs are simple but rather strict. However, if you encounter an issue with your order, please contact us at seailslandsnaptraps@gmail.com immediately from receiving your package. We will work with you to resolve the matter. To help us understand the issue and provide you with appropriate feedback and suggestions, please include detailed photos of the plant(s) and packaging. Please be aware that once your order is delivered, we are no longer responsible for the condition of the package or plants. Common problems that can damage plants include leaving the package outdoors in direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, using the wrong type of water or soil, and failing to follow the instructions included with the plants. The customer is responsible for promptly inspecting the package and plants upon delivery and for following the instructions provided.
